As most of you may know, my son and my business mean the world to me. That is why at this time I have decided to move the studio into my home. As a working mom of soon to be two, this will make my work and life a lot easier. We have been in business for 5 years now, 3 of which have been at Oakwood Mall. Chelsea and I will still be taking haircuts and colors 2-3 days a week by appointment only. Majority of our business is traveling on site for weddings, which will not change.
We just want to thank all of our clients again, who would follow us anywhere we go. a huge thank you to my husband, and dad who did the work to make this all possible. All of this will be taking place the first week in July. We will be at our current location until then. My last day before maternity leave will be September 8th, as long as everything goes well. I am due on the 15th. Again, during that time Chelsea will be available for anything you need. Thank you Alex Graber

![]() Since this is what we do every weekend we have all the answers regarding the morning of your wedding day. I receive many questions about time and scheduling for our services. Here is an overview of how the morning should go. Once we know the exact number of guests for hair and guests for makeup we will give you our arrival time. We need to know this number at least 30 days prior to your event. Once the contract is signed this cannot be changed. We always arrive a few minutes early. Upon arrival we immediately set up and begin on our first guest. Set up takes about 5 minutes. Depending on how many guests are in your party we will come with 2 or 3 stylists. (This is at no extra charge to you) We do not give guests appointment times. This is very important. Everyone must be there prior to our arrival and be ready to start. That means if we arrive at 10am all of your guests should be there no later than 930am. Believe it or not the morning tends to fly by. Having everyone there ready to go makes things run smoothly for you and your party. No one ever wants to be the first to go. We will either choose someone or you can pick. For us to travel onsite we require a 3 guest minimum for under 30 miles away and a 5 guest minimum for over 30 miles away. If you're interested in our services for just yourself we do have a studio in New Windsor where you can book an appointment. You can also book your party in our private studio as well. Once your photographer gives you the time he/she would like you to be ready, we always aim for about a half hour to an hour prior. Our ending time doesn't include time for your guests to pay and get dressed or do any other last minute things you need. Finishing a few minutes early will ensure you are not rushed and have time to do any last minute things. All payments must be paid before the photographer arrives. We like to collect payment after each person’s service. I always start the bride towards the end but not last. I want to make sure she has the most time spent and everything is perfect. Saving the bride for last can tend to feel rushed. Thank you ![]() As most of you know I am pregnant again with baby number 2! We are so excited for our growing family and cannot wait to meet him or her. Since I am due in September we are not booking any more weddings for September and October 2016. We do have a few weddings booked already during those months, which I wouldn’t have be able to do without such an amazing team!! A big thank you Chelsea for taking care of everything in the studio and onsite while I was out with Leo last year and again while I am out for this baby. Also thank you so much to our onsite stylists Bianca, Eliza and Carly. For this year we are booked pretty much every Saturday. The few Saturday's dates we still have available are June 11th, July 16th, August 13th, and November 5th, and 19th. We have a few openings for Sunday or Friday weddings during the months of June, August, July and November. We are completely available during December. We are currently booking for 2017 weddings. It’s not too early to save your date!! Most brides book a year in advance. For more information about our on location services please email us at agbeautyservices@gmail.com Thank you. Alex Graber
Here are some great ideas:
*Having professional hair and makeup as an option for your bridesmaids is great. As a gift, some brides will put a certain amount of money towards each girl’s service. *Etsy monogram or initial makeup bag, totes, cups, robes, shirts ect. *Custom robes or shirts always look great for a getting ready photo! *Alex and Ani bracelets (such a cute idea since you can individualize each one for each girl) *Lip gloss or lipstick (when getting your makeup done professionally, we guarantee that everything will last during the entire day into the night but the one thing that normally needs to be reapplied is your lipstick. Having one for each of your girls is a great accessory for the day) *Jewelry is always a great gift and having them match in your photos is always a nice touch. *A bottle of wine On my wedding day, I gave all of my bridesmaids a matching clutch. Since they each had completely different dresses, this tied everything together nicely. In the clutch I put a MAC lip gloss and a personal Alex and Ani bracelet for each girl. I also paid for their makeup that day.
![]() Wedding season has officially started! We’ve had bridal trials all weekend. If you’re trial is coming up soon here are some important questions and things to remember: *Bring photos *Any hair pieces, flowers, tiaras, combs, hair extensions ect. *The trial is 1-2 hours (you can request more time the price will vary) *During this time we will discuss everything- start time and how many guests will be in your party (ask any questions you may have) *Hair trials will be 1-3 looks *Makeup trials will be a full makeup application contour, highlight, full face makeup with fake eyelashes (the lashes are strip lashes and applied with glue. They come off very easily and are temporary) *Please arrive 5-10 minutes early (if you are late, we will do as much as we can in the given amount of time) If you need to cancel your appointment please do so in advance or at least 24 hours. *We will take photos of everything for you to refer back to *Have your hair like you would on the day of your wedding (Meaning: if you have naturally curly hair and want to keep your curl then have it curly. If you do not want your curl that morning, come to your trial with your hair blown out straight for us to curl with the iron. It is always better to have your hair at least a day dirty.) *Trials for your guests – it is not necessary, but of course if your mother, MOH or any guests would like a trial as well we can do so. Appointment is needed. *SAVE YOUR DATE a $100 non-refundable deposit is required which will be applied to your total on the day of your event. Now that wedding season has started we will not have time for Saturday wedding trial appointments. Most will be done during the week and although we are normally closed, we will be available some Sunday’s to accommodate our brides. From professional to drug store brands.
